In this course, students build on fundamentals ZENworks 10 Configuration Management (ZCM 10) administrative knowledge and skills by performing advanced administrative tasks (such as migrating ZENworks 7 Desktop Management or implementing patch management) for products that are integrated into ZCM 10 SP1.

We expect the audience for this course to include: - Novell software system administrators, integrators, and engineers - Networking consultants - Reseller/partner technical support staff - New Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management customers The primary target audience for the Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Advanced Administration course is established Novell software administrators with fundamentals ZENworks 10 Configuration Management (ZCM) administrative experience who need additional (advanced) knowledge and skills to administer ZCM 10.

Students should have a basic understanding of the network and networking (as introduced in the ComTIA Network+ certification) and have taken Course 3098 (Novell ZENworks 10 Configuration Management Administration), Course 8000 (ZCM 10 JumpStart course), or have equivalent knowledge or experience. In addition, students should be familiar with the fundamentals of an LDAP-compliant Directory service (such eDirectory or Active Directory). Some experience with fundamentals Linux administrative skills is also helpful.
